Qualified Freight Train Drivers - Western Region
Are you a qualified freight driver looking for an exciting and varied role? Are you hard working and flexible?
We are looking for qualified freight drivers in the Western Region who enjoy varied working to join the DCRail team and become an integral part of the delivery of our nationwide services.
We recognize flexibility & hard work and reward with role development such as route, traction and locational training.
You will also receive:
- A minimum salary of £77,054 per annum for a 45 hour/* day week
- Door to door pay
- Lodging allowance
- Opportunity for overtime
- 21 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) increasing to 23 days after 2 years service

Ground Staff - London
Wembley - Chessington - Plumstead
Vacancies have arisen for individuals to join DCRail as a Ground Staff Member on a full-time basis.
The successful applicants will join our Ground Staff Team and will need to be safety focused whilst also committed to delivering a reliable and on time service.
Responsibilities:
- Load examinations
- Relevant Safety checks
- Conducting safe shunting operations in accordance to the relevant Railway rules and regulations with the goal of dispatching trains safely and on time.
Requirements:
- Clean, full UK driving license
- Must live within 1 hours commute of NW10
- At least two years previous operational experience is desirable but not essential
- Flexible attitude to working hours
- Safety conscious with the ability to remain calm in emergency situations

Resource Planner -
Derby HQ
Role Overview
Are you an organised and proactive professional looking for a dynamic role in rail operations? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver nationwide services?
We’re looking for a Resource Planner to join our Production team at DCRail HQ. This is a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient allocation of resources to support our operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Fully comply with the SMS and safety critical job profile
- Ensure full compliance with the company cyber security and information technology policies
- Follow DCRail Fatigue Guidelines
- Produce weekly Train Crew rosters to be compliant within Fatigue Risk index
- Ensure weekly roster publication meets required deadlines
- Assist Integrated Planning Manager with new business implementation
- Produce and manage relevant Train Crew diagrams
- Book required DCRail staff hotels utilising company guidelines
- Collate required data for budget reporting
- Liaise with third party companies to fulfil known vacancies prior to roster publication
- Liaise with internal departments for required staff training / assessment allocation.
- Attend relevant Fatigue Working Group Meetings
- Attend weekly planning meeting and input resource update
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver exemplary customer service
- Must live within 1 hours commute of DE24 Postcode
